Recipe: How to Make Delicious Chana / Chole Curry
- Soak 250g Kabuli chana in 1 liter of water for 5–6 hours.
- Pressure cook the soaked chana (with the water) and a pinch of baking soda for about 5 whistles.
- Make a paste of 4 tomatoes, 2 green chillies, and 20g ginger.
- In a pan, heat 2 tbsp refined oil and sauté this paste until it releases oil.
- Add 20g Spicify Chana Masala and salt to taste. Cook for 1 minute on low flame.
- Add the boiled chana along with its water to the pan and cook for another 5 minutes on low heat.
- Garnish with freshly chopped coriander and serve hot.
Note:
You do not need to add amla (gooseberry) or tea leaves to achieve the dark color — Spicify Chana Masala does it naturally!
